Welcome to the Scharrer family's real life story! Most of our story is written for, and about, our four kids and the spice they add to our lives. It's our story of happiness, craziness, and sometimes ridiculousness. We've journaled through childbirth, the terrible two's, private school (and our public school experience), an autism diagnosis, medical school, residency, and long-term mission work in Africa.

Now we're following a new adventure, which involves a 45 foot motorcoach, homeschool, and as many ski slopes as we can go down in one year.

For posts from while we were living in Zimbabwe and updates about our future plans in Zimbabwe, please see our mission blog...

August in Pictures, Part 4: Florida Fun

Our condo from the other side of the river

My baby at the pool

He had a good tan line started!

Fort building day!

My sillies at the pool.

Skogen and I went on a Starbucks date and then to buy his school supplies for KINDERGARTEN since he'd be starting school right after we returned home. I love this boy!

The pool is much more fun when Daddy comes along!

The kids did a great job getting more comfortable with the water and swimming without their life jackets (especially Maida and Skogen).  Torsten also really impressed me with his ability to jump into the water and cruise around the pool wherever he wanted to go....always trying to keep up with his siblings!
