Welcome to the Scharrer family's real life story! Most of our story is written for, and about, our four kids and the spice they add to our lives. It's our story of happiness, craziness, and sometimes ridiculousness. We've journaled through childbirth, the terrible two's, private school (and our public school experience), an autism diagnosis, medical school, residency, and long-term mission work in Africa.

Now we're following a new adventure, which involves a 45 foot motorcoach, homeschool, and as many ski slopes as we can go down in one year.

For posts from while we were living in Zimbabwe and updates about our future plans in Zimbabwe, please see our mission blog...

Last Day of School 2015!!!

Because our kids go to private schools, they get out two weeks earlier than public schools in Minnesota.  It is so nice to have the last week in May and the first week in June off.  It's a great break before all the summer sports start!

Klaasen finished a GREAT year of preschool!  So proud of this kid and all his accomplishments this year!

Maida was blessed with such a sweet, Godly, amazing teacher.  We will miss Mrs. Lanners!
Last day of school was a no uniforms day!!!  They seem so old, but when I see pictures of them, they look so little!  I am so proud of these two.  I am also so thankful for our christian school, a place so open to God's presence and guidance.  So great!

This year we gave the teachers Prayer Request chalk boards as their end-of-the-year gift!  The kids decorated the backs of them and also decorated the gift bags.

Maida's teacher gave her this on the last day of school.  I thought it was so sweet.  I put it it Maida's school bin to keep forever!!!

I planned a last day of school party for the kids again this year!  Our first stop was Dairy Queen!  Nothing beats having ice cream for lunch!!!

Then we went to a new park to play!  I also brought some presents for them to open!
