Welcome to the Scharrer family's real life story! Most of our story is written for, and about, our four kids and the spice they add to our lives. It's our story of happiness, craziness, and sometimes ridiculousness. We've journaled through childbirth, the terrible two's, private school (and our public school experience), an autism diagnosis, medical school, residency, and long-term mission work in Africa.

Now we're following a new adventure, which involves a 45 foot motorcoach, homeschool, and as many ski slopes as we can go down in one year.

For posts from while we were living in Zimbabwe and updates about our future plans in Zimbabwe, please see our mission blog...

I figured it was about time

I finally put all of our Christmas pictures online! Some of them Erik's Uncle Gregg took and some are from Mema and Deda, but most of them are from our phone cameras, which don't take very clear pictures when the kids move so fast! (Our camera broke in September and we still haven't gotten it replaced.)

We spent Christmas in Oklahoma, between interviews, with Erik's family, however, we were able to stop and see my cousins while we were there, too. There are way too many fun memories to document here. It would take me all day! I hope the pictures can convey the love, joy, and happiness we felt this Christmas with our family and friends in Oklahoma.
