Welcome to the Scharrer family's real life story! Most of our story is written for, and about, our four kids and the spice they add to our lives. It's our story of happiness, craziness, and sometimes ridiculousness. We've journaled through childbirth, the terrible two's, private school (and our public school experience), an autism diagnosis, medical school, residency, and long-term mission work in Africa.

Now we're following a new adventure, which involves a 45 foot motorcoach, homeschool, and as many ski slopes as we can go down in one year.

For posts from while we were living in Zimbabwe and updates about our future plans in Zimbabwe, please see our mission blog...

Preschool Registration

I'm registering this little big girl for preschool today...

And I wasn't prepared to be so sad about it! She will be going to preschool every Tuesday and Thursday morning and I'm almost to the point of devastation that I'm going to be away from her two mornings a week! Sounds silly, I know, but I've been with her for every minute of her life (besides my three hospital stays, a few date nights, and random errands when my mom or MIL are in town) for the last 1,331 days of her life. I can't imagine what kindergarten is going to be like. Uffda!
