Welcome to the Scharrer family's real life story! Most of our story is written for, and about, our four kids and the spice they add to our lives. It's our story of happiness, craziness, and sometimes ridiculousness. We've journaled through childbirth, the terrible two's, private school (and our public school experience), an autism diagnosis, medical school, residency, and long-term mission work in Africa.

Now we're following a new adventure, which involves a 45 foot motorcoach, homeschool, and as many ski slopes as we can go down in one year.

Maida's First Water Park

We were so blessed to have Erik's mom and dad, "Nana" and "Papa," come and visit last week. They did a whole lot of work for me around the house (laundry, cleaning, cooking, taking out the garbage...) and also took us out to eat a whole lot-! We had so much fun showing off our new baby and also all the new things that Maida is doing. Nana and Papa stayed at a water park hotel and Maida and Erik were able to go swimming with them. Maida LOVED it! Here's a quick video that I put together of the water park. (More pictures of their trip to come too!)
