Welcome to the Scharrer family's real life story! Most of our story is written for, and about, our four kids and the spice they add to our lives. It's our story of happiness, craziness, and sometimes ridiculousness. We've journaled through childbirth, the terrible two's, private school (and our public school experience), an autism diagnosis, medical school, residency, and long-term mission work in Africa.

Now we're following a new adventure, which involves a 45 foot motorcoach, homeschool, and as many ski slopes as we can go down in one year.

For posts from while we were living in Zimbabwe and updates about our future plans in Zimbabwe, please see our mission blog...

Kelsey: 2 Mama: 0

Although it's guaranteed to never come off.

She got it off.

I came home to...

one less package of dog treats...

one less box of cereal...

one less jar of peanut butter,
dirty diapers torn apart all over the place,
random garbage spread throughout,
amongst several other things that were damaged and trashed.

Kelsey girl, I don't know if you really want to see what you have coming next.

  1. Oh my gracious!!! Our new puppy has been tearing stuff up too, but not like that! I'm so sorry...Does she open doors? Do you have a basement in your new house? Can she chew through a chain if you tie her up somewhere? I'd be going crazy...you're so patient. Hang in there...

  2. I think a chain with a choke collar, tied up in our basement is my next move. But that seems kinda harsh if she ever has to stay down there for very long. Erik hates the dog and wants to bring her back, but we've already spent so much money on her, I feel like we need to stick it out. How old is your puppy?
